What is Freshology?

Freshology is the premier, gourmet meal delivery service that designs and delivers fresh and healthy meal programs to help address your nutritional needs and to help you reach your goals- whether it’s weight loss or a convenient healthy lifestyle, or both! Your meals are prepared fresh and delivered to your door on a nightly basis in convenient insulated cooler bags to keep meals at the highest standards of safety and quality. With a broad variety of bold flavors and rich textures, along with our commitment to personalized attention, we want to provide you with a fulfilling dining experience.

What are some of the low glycemic index foods that Freshology uses?

We use many low glycemic index foods every day. Some examples include apples, peaches, mangos, melons, apricots, whole grain breads, whole grain pastas, kidney beans, oatmeal, barley, broccoli, green beans, peppers, tomatoes, and yogurt.

What are some of Freshology’s “green” efforts?

Freshology consistently emphasizes environmentally conscious best practices in conducting its business. Whenever and wherever possible, we purchase our ingredients from local growers-minimizing the environmental costs of transportation-and from farms dedicated to practicing sustainable agriculture. Our containers are made from recycled materials and are fully recyclable.

How do I select the right program for me?

Freshology offers 2 ways for you to select a program

  1. You can go to “How To Start” on the top right hand corner of the homepage and go through the “Selection Guide”. This will ask you 5 questions that will guide you into a program customized for your personal or nutritional goals.
  2. Programs At-A-Glance– this will give you an overview of the different programs that we offer and allow you to select the right program for you.

What kinds of programs do you offer?

We advise you to always consult with your physician before making any changes to your diet. Our staff nutritionists inform the design of our meal programs, in order to meet and exceed your nutritional needs.

Freshology accommodates different lifestyles with programs ranging from high protein/ low carb weight loss, weight management, fitness, healthy lifestyle, premium a-la-carte, gluten-free, lactose free, low cholesterol and vegetarian programs. We also have a specialized plan for pre and post-natal moms. Most programs are offered with either a Premium Menu or a Classic Menu; each menu offers different flavor profiles, different meals and different levels of customization.

What if I only want lunch and dinner instead of the entire program?

The Premium A-La-Carte Program allows you to order just the meals that you want on the days that best fit your schedule. Consult your Freshology Representative at 1 (877) 893-7374 in order to customize a program for your lifestyle and nutritional needs.

How can Freshology help me lose weight?

There is no magical formula for weight loss except for the following: If you take in fewer calories than you use, you will lose weight. Adopting a healthy diet is the key to successful, long-term weight loss. Freshology is not diet food- it is real food you should be eating every day. It teaches you a healthier way to eat as a lifestyle vs. a short term ‘diet’.

How does the program work?

Your meals are prepared fresh and delivered twice a week in a temperature controlled box with insulated material to keep meals at the highest standards of safety and quality. You will also receive your menu via email with the description of the meals and simple heating instructions. Meals are color-coded to allow you to follow your daily menus for maximum health and efficiency. Simply heat and enjoy in the comfort of your own home!

How long can I stay on a Freshology meal Program?

We have had many success stories where a client starts on the program to lose weight and they continue to stay on our program to continue living a healthy lifestyle. We don’t represent a diet- we represent a healthy lifestyle where we provide nutritionally balanced gourmet meals that you will love! This is the way you should be eating everyday- just let Freshology do all the work for you- we buy, prepare, cook, and deliver your meals right to your door.

When should I eat my Freshology meals?

You should eat your Freshology meals every 4-5 hours. Start by enjoying your breakfast within 2 hours after waking up. This will jump start your metabolism and get your systems going. Your meal plan has been designed to provide you with essential nutrients necessary for optimal energy and nutrition.

How do I heat the food?

You can heat your meals in the oven, on the stovetop or in the microwave. We recommend that you remove the food and place it on a plate before microwaving it. Remove all fresh fruit and sauce containers before heating your meals. We recommend heating your breakfast for 1-2 minutes, lunch for 1.5 to 2 minutes and dinner for 2-3 minutes, depending on the power of your microwave.

How are Freshology meals delivered?


As a Freshology client, you will find an energy efficient cooler bag delivered to your door every morning by 6 am (weekend meals are delivered together by Saturday morning). A menu with the description of the meals, simple heating instructions and directions if the meal should be served chilled or heated is enclosed on the side of your cooler. At the end of the day, just leave your empty bag, including ice packs, outside of your door to be picked up when your new fresh delivery arrives.

Where are Freshology daily deliveries available?

Freshology delivers to most zip codes in Los Angeles and Orange County on a daily basis. Please consult with your customer service representative to confirm that we deliver to your zip code.

How soon will I begin to receive my meals?

You may start receiving your meals 3-7 days after signing up, depending on the program you order.

What if I go out of town during a scheduled meal delivery?

We will suspend your deliveries for the dates you provide with a minimum of a 3-7 days notice prior to your delivery (depending on the program you ordered). The extra days will then be added to the end date of your program. You can then return to your Freshology program at any time.

Can I have my meals delivered to an alternate address?

Yes. Contact your Freshology Consultant 3 business days before the delivery date in order for us to make the adjustment to your program.

Where is Freshology Available?


Freshology is available throughout the 48 Continental United States (if you live in Hawaii and would like the program, please contact Customer Service at 1 (877) 893-7374. We are not yet available in Alaska). We ship all orders via FedEx to your home.

Can I order the program for only weekdays?

We offer 5-day and 7-day delivery schedules.
If you order a 5-day delivery schedule, you will have the flexibility to eat on your own for 2 days out of the week in case you go out to dinner. FedEx does not deliver any packages on Monday so, if you would like to begin your program on a Monday, place the meals you receive on Friday in the refrigerator and begin consuming them on Monday in order to stay on your schedule.

How does the food stay fresh when you deliver 3 to 4 days at a time?

We use a process called MAP. In this process, oxygen is removed from the meal container in order to slow down the oxidation process of your meals. This allows the meals to stay fresher longer.

What if I go out of town during a scheduled meal delivery?

Contact your Freshology Consultant at least 7 calendar days before the day you need to leave. We will suspend your deliveries for the dates you provide to the best of our ability. The extra days will then be added to the end date of your program. You can then arrange to resume your program at a later date with 7-calendar days prior notice.

Can I have my meals delivered to an alternate address?

Yes. We will need 3-business days notice prior to your ship date in order for you not to experience a delay in the receipt of your package.

Can I have my order sent to a P.O. Box?

No. FedEx will not ship to a P.O. Box.

What happens if the package arrives at my door, but I am not home to receive it?

FedEx will leave your meals at your doorstep without a signature.

What do I do with the empty shipping box and ice water packs?

We suggest that your shipping boxes be recycled and your ice water packs be reused, donated or disposed of in the trash.

How do I pay for my meals?

Freshology programs must be prepaid at least 3-7 calendar days before the first delivery (depending on the program you order) and may be purchased by credit card. Freshology accepts AMEX, VISA, and MasterCard. You also have the option for automated renewal, which will allow your renewal to be charged automatically for each program term.

How do I renew my program?

Your Freshology consultant will remind you toward the end of your program, and you will receive an email reminder, so that you have the choice to renew your program or take time off and resume at a later date.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

We require 3 business days’ notice prior to cancellation; you will be refunded for any unused portion of your program. All programs purchased with a promotional rate and cancelled prior to the completion of the program, are subject to be charged the non-promotional (regular price) price for days delivered. Remember, Freshology meals are freshly prepared. After an order has been placed, your fresh fruits, vegetables, produce and other ingredients are ordered. If you have a sudden emergency (out of town, etc.) please arrange for a friend or relative to pick up your meals.
